❤️ Fully Hand-Carved Guilloché, No Machine Printing Duplication

After the base glaze of the porcelain body dries completely, artisans use custom fine embroidery needles to carve continuous phoenix-tail brocade patterns on the colored glaze layer without drafts or breaks. The fine textures resemble woven brocade; one slip of the needle renders the whole piece defective. A single set of guilloché textures takes over 8 hours of manual work, and mass-produced printed porcelain from assembly lines cannot replicate this three-dimensional texture and light-shadow effect.

Each ware undergoes four separate firing stages:

1200℃ high-temperature firing of white porcelain body → base color glaze firing → low-temperature setting of guilloché textures → hand-painted famille rose floral patterns + final gold gilding firing.

Repeated thermal expansion and contraction cause heavy losses, with an overall finished product rate below 35%. Every piece is a one-of-a-kind handcrafted treasure polished by artisans over long hours.

We adopt high-purity Jingdezhen kaolin for wheel-throwing and trimming. The body is dense and snow-white, while thin-body styles deliver gentle light transmission. The glaze surface is smooth and even, free of pinholes, bubbles or stray discoloration. It complies with food-contact safety standards, so tea sets are safe for daily tea and coffee brewing.

No unified stencils are used for hand needle carving. Subtle differences exist in brocade density and hand-painted floral details across all wares; no two pieces of guilloché porcelain are identical, endowing each item with rare collectible value.

Frequently Asked Questions About Hand Guilloché Porcelain

Is your guilloché fully handmade, or semi-finished with machine assistance?

All textures are hand-needle carved entirely without mechanical embossing or decal transfer. Artisans carve every line of the brocade pattern by hand following ancient traditional craftsmanship, completely different from mass machine-produced porcelain.

The premium comes from long manual working hours, ultra-low finished yield and irreproducible artistry. Guilloché requires multiple firing cycles and full hand-carved brocade textures; a tiny mistake ruins the whole piece. Labor and scrap costs are far higher than standard printed porcelain.

This is not a flaw. Fully handmade products have no uniform templates, so subtle differences in texture density and hand-painted details are inevitable, which are exclusive characteristics of handcrafted artware.

No. Needle carving is embedded inside the glaze layer, leaving a smooth, sleek exterior with delicate touch that does not interfere with daily use at all.

Safety & Daily Use

All glazes and pigments are food-grade certified with no heavy metal leaching. Safe for long-term daily tea brewing and regular use without toxic risks.

Pouring boiling water at room temperature is safe. Avoid extreme temperature shocks, such as pouring boiling water directly into ice-cold porcelain.

No complicated upkeep needed. Gentle hand wash only; avoid hard scrub brushes and dishwashers for easy daily care.

Avoid prolonged exposure to strong direct sunlight. When placed indoors normally, colors and gold luster will retain a soft, warm finish for years.

Only machine-printed porcelain achieves fully uniform patterns. Hand painting and needle carving cannot be perfectly duplicated. Matching sets are guaranteed consistent in overall style and top-tier quality.

Every piece is individually wrapped with shockproof foam and separated by layers. Large decorative wares are reinforced with hard outer packaging to minimize scratches, wear and breakage during transit.

Provide unboxing photos and videos within 24 hours upon receipt. We will send a brand-new replacement free of charge; you do not need to return the damaged item.
